How are you that fast? When I came, there was absolutely no one! 😟
Think you needed to refresh your browser, I wasnt first though lol
I posted a link to the trailer on discord if you want to have a look lol
Nah, I was pretty sure I came first. I’m just all fingers and thumbs when it comes to typing! 😝
you may want to work on your stamina if you're coming first, don't think your partner will be impressed :P
jk
Don’t you know, one’s masculinity is independent of one’s dexterity! 😝
lol
Praise God BBQ he pooch
always look fot your comment down here thanks
Didn’t expect to be the first one. Somehow I’m not digging today’s episode. Mostly because there’s little progress and I absolutely hate shaky cams. It adds nothing to the suspense or thrill except making you woozy. You’ll know what I meant when you watch the fight scene.
But I’ll cut it some slacks because it’s really not the fault of the production studio. The story is really that long-winded and drawn out with never ending battles thrust upon the MC. On the bright side, all these events and people that SH runs into now will reappear again in the future. I was exasperated reading the novel with this seemingly unending tribulations that our MC has to go through but thankfully the author does tie up all (most) of the loose ends albeit much later.
I can only say, watching this donghua and especially reading the novel does require quite some “Dao of Patience and Perseverance”!
You know what really grind my gears, its the fact SH gotta be humble and still show mercy toward this arrogant bastard. However if SH would have killed him they would've been revenge this on SH for killing their shitty bastard of comrade SMH, but yea actually glad they seen his true colors first sight.
thank god that annoying dude died
Guys, there's something I don't understand. This is a very good show and I admit that but what is the use of cultivation levels if the mc is able to defeat all his opponent regardless of their level. I mean Shi Hao is able to annihilate ancestors that are 3 or 4 levels above him. I love op mcs but at least there should be a bit of struggle or some limit. Also, can someone do me a favor and tell Dase that I'm unable to see her comments. It's like I've been blocked but I don't remember ever replying to any of her comments and saying something that will piss her off lol.
I don’t recall him annihilating ancestors 3-4 levels above him. I think you just have to pay attention to the nitty gritty of each battle. It can be confusing.
Most of his battles are of the same level or just one level higher than him. I’ve mentioned before in my previous comments that the reason for SH’s strength comes from him breaking through the limit in every level that he cultivated. He always takes everything to the extreme, setting unprecedented records never before attempted in history, like the merging of his 10 heavenly paths. The donghua actually skips over a lot of his struggles and perseverance in every cultivation level. Most of his breakthroughs are achieved with blood, flesh and sheer grit.
In his earlier struggles just before and after he acceded the throne, his power comes from the emperor’s inheritance, while the super powerful supreme beings are taken care of by Little Pagoda and Willow God. The rest is of course the typical MC’s plot armours.
Perhaps you may think that I’m biased towards Shi Hao or PW — I might be. But I’m sure if you were to read the novel, you would definitely curse the author. He’s one of those sadist authors that insist on tempering his MC every second of his life. I’m not the only one cursing, if you go to Wuxiaworld comments section underneath each chapter, most of the readers were just sick and tired of the author torturing the MC relentlessly and not giving SH his due.
I remember he destroyed a nirvana lvl cultivator and also that supreme ancestor of the family that held his parents hostage. I'm not that familiar with the levels though.
Defeating that supreme ancestor was with the help of Little Pagoda. If you rewatch, you’ll see that Lil’ Pagoda didn’t even bother to fight but channel his power to either SH or his weapon.
As for the nirvana guy, SH was wearing his unbreakable body suit that automatically up his level.
Oh yeah, I remember now lol. Thanks
Bugger is at most two stages higher. Plus he wanted to subdue Shi Hao to take his power and supreme bone
The venerates are 1 Tier higher, not 3-4 tiers. Shi Hao never really had an easy time fighting the Venerates. The easy wins are all against the spoiled brats from upper realms who are around his level or lower.
Plus Shi Hao has obtained a Supreme Bone skill
Thanks :)
If you want to watch struggling MC then go watch Bing huo mu chu
I'm not trying to say I prefer mcs who struggle in every fight. I prefer a struggling mc like Han li. He struggles to cultivate but he is strong against opponents of the same level. He knows he isn't talented but doesn't slack off. But isn't Bing huo mu chu about cooking and cultivating? The cooking part dampened my interest. But if it's a good series, please let me know whether the mc is a simp, or if he is dumb. I shy away from watching those type of donghua's. I might end up breaking my monitor lol
Bing Huo mu chu is ..sadly..pretty bad. The premise is quite unique and interesting but the execution leaves allot to be desired, starting with technical aspects like animation and long drawn out actions.. i cant help but feel they struggle to fill up the time each and every episode.. but the whole thing could be great if the studios greed would not get the better of them. At any rate i hope for it to get better. As for the Mc's character i dont like or hate him.. its like he has potential but doesnt know enough about his powers or how to get better. Its quite possible he will become pretty amazing at some point but he has a long way to get there
Thanks for the reply. Also, I've been wanting to watch purple river, but I was told it isn't about cultivation. Just action & fantasy. I've been trying to find new cultivation donghuas but the ones I find are either BL or has a dumb mc smh 🤦♂️
Zi chuan is not about cultivation but its pretty awesome.. animation, art and characters are all very good especially the main MC and the story has allot of politics amongst other things.. if i were to rate my fave donghuas i think Zi chuan would be top 5 for me. Im fortunate enough to have allot of free time so i watch everything regardless if its chinese or japanese even the sh1ty ones that are more like slightly animated manhuas and i still run out of things to watch constantly
Oh yeah, I've also been watching motion comics, and I love a couple of them lol. People complain about the animation, but I've gotten used to it. Have you seen "I can copy talents." What do you think of it?
not sure i know that one.. there is a similar title called "your talent is mine" its relatively new and i kind of like the art style but its too early to say its any different than all the others. the issue with allot of these chinese animations and i mean the good ones and the bad ones they all suffer from the same issue, the characters act the same and say the same things and have the same schemes only to fail and then beg for their life in the same way.. like idk english is not my native language but i can think of lots of different ways of saying the same thing and english is a pretty basic language not even close the the complexity of mandarin.. is it really that much to ask for some variety?.. but listen to me rambling you were asking about that animation, i think amongst its type its one of the better ones :)
I just started watching Apotheosis. The Chinese title is Bai Lian Cheng Shen. Apparently the title means something like hundreds tempering to become a god. The first three episodes are quite decent actually. Definitely no dumb MC and it started off with him being enslaved, imprisoned and tortured. You might want to give it a try.
P.S. It seems there’s a 2D version and I believe gogo has both versions. I watched it from Youku channel on You|Tube and it already has very decent English subs.
Man, they talked for way too long this ep.
I hope battle through the heaven's follows d novel as well because d mahw is trash
Wud up

ah I cant wait for him to get married :3 all the waifus
GUESS FAT GURL (FIRE GURL THAT KINDA GREW UP WITH HIM) IS OUT OF THE PICTURE NOW
At last that spoiled brat from the upper realm dies
lol finally going to see Shi Haomarrying Yue Chan soon, in about 4 weeks timeQing Yi actually and of course his mother interrupting him as he makes his moves Saw a trailer (episode 88) that indicates the studio is following the novel, with the mother bantering and negotiating the wedding with Yue Chan like Shi Hao is a piece of meat at a market lol
That specific trailer goes like this
Shi Hao is holding Yue Chan in his arms (in a tango position, angled position) and he moves his hands towards her veil but looks like he is moving towards her chest, when a voice stops them
Shi Hao's mother - Hao'Er, this is..?
Later we cut to another scene
Shi Hao's mother - I always wanted a daughter like you, and when both are married you two must love one another
Yue Chan - Why dont I become your god daughter instead
Shi Hao's mother - After you marry Shi Hao, you will be my daughter, why would there be a need for you to become my god daughter?
